What We're Sweet On: Patches That Fix Winter Dehydration (bellasugar)
Winter is a skin killer for even the slickest-skinned among us. Between the
dry heat inside, the harsh wind outdoors, and the ever-present desire to warm
up with a scalding shower, it's no surprise that most people will have flakes
and itchy spots until March or April. Persistent desiccation doesn't have to
plague you, though, and you don't have to sleep under pounds of lotion to
treat the issue. For a simple, inexpensive spot fix, we've been using these
collagen gel patches ($13) by Dermactin-TS.
They're meant for under your eyes, and they really do give them a pick up, but
they're also great for sticking on really dry spots anywhere. Plus, they
(temporarily) erase fine lines. The box only has 12 patches, but if your skin
is in distress, and you have a party or night out coming up, they make a huge
difference.
